Opportunity for volunteers and educators in Kenya

Code Club is a programme run by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. The Raspberry Pi Foundation is a UK-based charity that works to put the power of computing and digital making into the hands of people all over the world. They are part of a growing worldwide movement that is working to put the power of computing and digital making into the hands of people all over the world.

Code Club is a global network of volunteers and educators who run free coding clubs for 9- to 13-year-olds. They offer short courses that give the volunteers and educators the confidence and skills to run a Code Club for young people and inspire the next generation to get excited about computing and digital making.

We recommend interested volunteers and educators enroll for free first and then paying 5,000/= (Upgrade package) after 5 weeks to receive a certificate of achievement. Extra resources normally available with schools that have computer laboratories like space, computers, desks and chairs and a reliable/controlled internet connection may be required.

Code Club programs would be ideal during school holidays or weekends.

You can sign up for the Code Club course here.
